DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – APR. 4, 2014 – The Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism and its U.S and Hispanic marketing agency, BVKMeka, are thrilled to announce that they received four Silver ADDY® Awards at the Miami Chapter of the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) annual ADDY® Awards.

2013 / 2014 Ad Campaign Applauded by Miami’s Industry Leaders

“Our 2013 / 2014 ‘Has It’ campaign strategically highlights our popular tourism destinations of Puerto Plata, La Romana, Samaná, Santo Domingo and Punta Cana,” said Magaly Toribio, Marketing Advisor for the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism. “We consistently seek innovative ways to promote the country through advertising and always consider what our travelers look for in a vacation destination. We are extremely honored to have our efforts recognized by such a well-respected organization.”

The campaign strategy of “Has It” depicts the personality of each region through stunning visuals and inspiring music, specifically emphasizing that each region is a destination unto itself. Each region’s “it factor” contributes to the allure of Dominican Republic – a country where tourists can truly have it all.
