This iconic cave lies above ground along the cliffs north of Lago Enriquillo, its entrance staircase located right off the main highway. You will climb a series of sturdy wooden steps all the way up to a wooden platform positioned directly opposite the open chambers. Explore the large number of petroglyphs across the walls, faces suggesting the presence of Tainos thousands of years ago. On the way out, take a few minutes to enjoy the panoramic view from the platform over the highway, and the lagoon ahead.
