The heart of La Romana’s city beats around this small shaded square, like many cities in the Dominican Republic. But this particular park stands out for its life-sized statues of baseball towers, representing baseball players in various game positions. It’s quite the sight to stroll beside them, and worthwhile to get abstract photographs of the nation’s most symbolic sport. The park is also located near restaurants, hotels, and street side markets.
