Las Américas International Airport (SDQ), also known as the José Francisco Peña Gómez Airport, is 30 minutes from the capital city of Santo Domingo and very close to the tourist areas of Boca Chica and Juan Dolio.
Don Diego Terminal is located on the west side of Santo Domingo. Tourists disembarking at this terminal are within walking distance to the historical center, the Colonial City of Santo Domingo.
La Isabela International Airport (JBQ)

Sans Souci Terminal is on the east side of Santo Domingo, across the Ozama River. Tourists landing there are next door to the attractions of the Columbus Lighthouse, the National Aquarium and Los Tres Ojos Nature Park. A shuttle is available to the Don Diego Gate in the Colonial City.
